Saturday afternoon 1 – 4pm (18 hours over 6 weeks)
Choose your own sewing patterns, suited to your skill level, to make up under our expert guidance.
Skill level: Suitable for students who can confidently use a sewing machine to make accessories and basic garments. You may have completed one of our short or term-long beginners courses (or equivalent), or be an out-of-practise or self-taught sewist who wishes to advance your skills.
Men and non-binary folk are encouraged to attend. Open to adults and young adults (minimum age 13 yo)
What to bring: Your sewing machine if you have one. If not, you are welcome to use one of ours. Sewing pattern, fabric, threads, and other notions (buttons, zips) required to make your garment. Saturday students – we can advise on suitable patterns if required. Wednesday evening students will receive info about the set projects two weeks before the course commences.

You must have seen previously and know how to confidently thread up a sewing machine. This course is perfect for achieving your first buttonhole, collar, or gathered skirt - for instance!
 
Lifelong skills, expert tuition, and a whole lot of fun!
 
Their project of choice is fabric and pattern. Please start with a simple pattern and work your way up!
 
This class series runs over 6 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
